Mama's sufferings was created by miguel
I woke up spontaneously at about 2:30 this morning and lay in bed not able to go back to sleep. Within a few minutes, I heard mama moaning and weeping in her room, and I heard something hit the metal wastebasket she keeps beside her recliner. Then I heard her moan, 'God, help me!'

Horrified, I ran to her door with a few loose keys in my hand, extra keys I keep on a bookshelf in the living room. In desperation, I tried all of them. None worked. Thank God, Nathan woke up, came out of his room with his keys, and gave me the right one. Mama pounded on her door. 'I'll get it open as soon as I find the right key,' I said.

Finally inside, I saw her lying on the floor behind the recliner moaning and weeping. I did the best I could to help her up, but she cried out begging me to put her back down. The reason for the difficulty is constant pain she has in her groin. It becomes intolerable if she moves the wrong way or exerts the wrong muscles.

I finally managed to get her positioned so that she could get herself back up onto the bed.
She lay there weeping and moaning for a few minutes.

I went to the living room and thought, 'What am I to do?' Then I asked God for wisdom, according to James 1:5-6. I don't consciously know what God's counsel is, but I still believe I have received it, according to James' instructions.

The Lord himself also gives us instructions in Mark 11:24-25. The word 'believe' is actually 'RECEIVED' in the original Greek--past tense--while the word 'HAVE' is in the future tense in the Greek as it is in English. We have to believe that we have received what we asked for, at the moment we prayed for it; the 'have' part comes later, but is guaranteed.

The Lord's instructions continue with another stipulation: 'forgive, if ye have ought against any'.

I choose to follow both instructions in order to be sure to keep the channel open between God and myself.

I want you all to know what is happening with mama and what she is going through.
