Here I am, after much friendly cajoling from our system administrator and much procrastination on my part.

It's hot today in Texas, in spite of the time of year. My job is going OK, considering the difficulties the company is experiencing. They don't pay me well--about $20k-$25k under what an EHS professional with my level of knowledge, certifications and experience would normally get. But they spoil me rotten. I have never had such a cushy job situation: located just 5.7 miles from my house; no expressway driving; very flexible hours--I come and go almost as I please; easy-going, liberal-minded boss who has no idea what I do for him but could not get by without it; no pressure. This job is almost a sinecure.

Well the way I look at all of it these days... I'm just fortunate to have a job at all. Yes, I too am far below where I should be, but it's a stable job with a few good benefits, not the least of which is the fact that we're an ESOP.

If it ain't broke, it needs a LOT more fix'n...

Just added all of the pictures of the Mamma's last quilt to the Photo Gallery. I guess either you or Nathan took them for her yesterday. (?)
