Unfortunately we got home a little too late last night to do anything very constructive at all, but it was WELL worth it just the same. A beautiful day, a fantastic ride with some great friends. The week is rapidly coming to a close now. Saturday morning is Chapter Ride day. Destination, the Palm Springs Tram. About a three and half hour ride through the back country to get there. Had a REALLY nice day yesterday…  a ride out around my favorite loop with a lunch stop at Major’s Diner. Had a “Call The Fire Department” burger (something I had never seen on the menu before) and they are NOT kidding! If you like hot stuff… THIS is the burger for you! Sunday morning and two of the three bikes are all nice and clean so that’s not hanging over my head anymore.  Servers at the office are all up to date and I got a good End of Week backup. Managed to get down to Motoworld last night and not only had a nice visit with everyone but also got the cleaning supplies for the bikes. Ok… so I woke up early enough this morning to get my local area network stuff done and decided to take another look at Quick Books Pro 2012 customization. Specifically custom logos on printing templates. It appears that you can’t change them 60 days after purchasing the software without paying Intuit another $5. Is that crappy or what? Yippee!! Got a good backup last night… and we have a new media set coming too. The current set lasted a LONG time and all have a ridiculous amount of hours on them so we sure can’t complain about that. I do wish I could run a nice Ultrium drive at home though but just can’t afford it (hardware, media, not to mention the electric bill! LOL). Yesterday was a really nice day. Got the home network all up to date, napped, got all caught up on the DVR and had a fantastic and relaxing ride with some of the chapter members last night. Was pretty COLD up on Mount Laguna but we got watch the full moon riser of the mountains between us and the desert. A beautiful sight to say the least. Dinner in Pine Valley on the way up and coffee and desert in Ramona on the way back down. All in all, another fantastic Saturday.... Read more...

Woo Hoo!! Saturday morning and pretty much all of the home network stuff is done. Unfortunately I have to rerun the backup job at the office. No big deal though… just sort of a pain in the proverbial poop shoot. Probably going to head out for a short ride today but then tonight we have the “Full Moon” ride with the chapter. Spent most of the day updating and adding another Windows 7 machine to the domain yesterday. Need to play with it a bit to get used to it but so far it looks like a great operating system. Still not real thrilled about the user interface but it seems to be pretty decent. Just takes a little getting used to is all.
